Shipping and Land Transportation Separated

  • Yue-Ming Transportation Company was reorganized into U-Ming Marine Transport Corp., specializing in marine transport. All land transport operations were merged into Fu-Ming Transportation Company. In 1985, U-Ming Marine Transport transferred all its shares in Fu-Ming Transportation to Asia Cement Corporation.

Expanded Business Scope

  • Asia Transportation Company was reorganized into Yue-Ming Transportation Company, established with an investment from Asia Cement Corporation. To meet the demand for cement marine transport, the company purchased cement ships and established separate marine and land transport departments.
